There is no doubt that St. Helens are the most potent offensive team at the moment, however, they can still play hot or cold at times. In fact, in their most recent clashes it is Wigan who have had the upper hand, negating the Saints attacking play with some well thought-out manoeuvres. Wigan may be without some key players for the Final. Martin Aspinwall has failed to recover from a hamstring injury he sustained in the Warrior's 30-18 semi-final win over Warrington a month ago, while Great Britain winger Brian Carney is still nursing a broken ankle sustained in the opening tie back in February. Their absence is offset, however, by the return of another international three-quarter, David Hodgson, who has been named on the wing after making his comeback in last Friday's Super League win over Widnes. Wigan have certainly run into some form recently, having not lost since holding the Saints to a draw on Good Friday, and could be going into the Final with the momentum. They may be the under-dogs, but on an occasion as big as this, they will certainly be just as up for this as the Saints.
